How do I connect my Canvas to Wi-Fi?

We make it easy to connect to Wi-Fi during the setup process—just follow the instructions on the Canvas. If your Canvas is already set up, or you need to connect to a new network, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Meural app from the iTunes or Google Play.

  2. Wave down to get to the Canvas menu, and then down to Wi-Fi, and right to select it. Select “Clear all connections”, and then “Start local network”.

  3. Turn on the Canvas and wave down to pull up the Canvas menu. Wave down to get to “Canvas info”, and then wave right right to select it. Within this section you will see the Canvas’ network—an artist’s name followed by three numbers.

  4. On your phone’s Wi-Fi, search for the name of your Canvas’ network and connect to it.

  5. Go back to the Meural app and enter your Wi-Fi network and password. The Canvas and app will take a few seconds to connect to each other. When you see the term ‘Connected’ on both screens, you’re all set.

It’s also possible to connect using a web browser. To do so:

  1. Go to your computer’s Wi-Fi and connect to the Canvas’ network (again, this can be found by waving down on the Canvas to pull up the Canvas menu, waving down to get to Canvas info, and then right).

  2. You’ll find the Canvas’s IP address in this same menu. Type this into your web browser. From this page, you’ll connect to your Wi-Fi network.

  3. Go to to automatically sync your Canvas to our user platform.
